Jack

These are the last pictures taken of our dog, Jack. He was diagnosed with highly metestatic lymphoma and we had to put him to sleep. That was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. We LOVED this dog and he was definately part of the family. He will be greatly missed. We LOVE you Jackson. :)

oh Holly. So many sad things all at once. I'm SO sorry! It is so hard to lose a pet. They are totally part of the family, and they leave such a big hole. It was so obvious how much you loved him. I know you will miss him so much!

That was the 1st time I've ever had to do that, but the vet was so nice and made it special. Yeah, it's been a hard 2 weeks, but hopefully things will start looking up from here. :)

It's so hard to know what's easeier...to be with them when they go, or for it to be sudden or to just find them. When our dog, Linus, died, he was hit by a car and we found him on the side of the road - stupid people didn't even stop after they hit him. But, in a way, looking back, I wonder if that was easier than having to take him to the vet when he's old to be put to sleep. I don't know. And I'm not looking forward to all that with Rerun and Lucy. Hang in there!
